Nnewi Comes Alive as 6 Contestants Go into Anambra Got Talent Finals

 The city of Nnewi, Anambra State came to life over the weekend as the audition train of the Anambra Got Talent Show arrived the city.
The SlamiEmpire team of judges and media personnel touched down in Nnewi on Saturday after which they set up at Hotel de Universe where they sat to audition twenty-eight contestants.

The judges were radio presenter, Odenigbo fm, Mc Legend ; music producer/director, Bigtymerbitz ; CEO Babarazi Entertainment, Mr. Igwe, and Face of Culture Nigeria 2014, Nneka Igwe.

 Commenting, CEO of SlamiEmpire, Mr. Slami Ifeanyi said "Today we are here to continue our journey. Our journey into discovering talents and unleashing dreams. It's been really great so far, and today we pick the final set to join the grand finalists".‎

The Nnewi audition saw many singers, guitar players, dancers, drama crews, including artisans who all battled to make it into the finals.

Out of over twenty-eight contestants, six were eventually selected by the judges; in addition to thirty-four contestants from other cities in the state; the grand finale of the Anambra Got Talent will feature forty finalists.

 "Nnewi auditions came to an end today (Saturday). Six persons made it, so we have forty finalists to battle for the grand prizes. Talents are being discovered and unleashed here at Anambra Got Talent and our goal is to push this dreams into realities and groom this talents.

"We are not relenting. We have been preparing for this. In a month, on the 7th of August, we go to finals. That is the D-day. So we expect brands and personalities from all over Nigeria on that day as they will all be present to show support, scout talents and of course have fun", Slami said.

 Also speaking, Brand manager, Nneka Igwe said " Really the auditions at Oko, Onitsha, Awka and Nnewi today (Nnewi) was great. The turn out was massive and it was fun too. Just like is expected at talent hunt shows, lots of persons will send your ribs cracking and talents will also emerge.
" It was a hard time you know, having to pick just six here in Nnewi and sending otheres away. Nevertheless, it was great and now we look forward to the grand finale on 7th August at Emmaus house."

 The audition train of AGT had hit Awka, Oko and Onitsha and made a final stop at Nnewi onSaturday, 4th July 2015 at Hotel de Universe, ahead of the grand finale.

The grand finale for the big talent hunt show, takes place on 7th August 2015 at Emmaus House Awka.
