In a single plenary, the senate on Wednesday concurred and passed a total of forty-six bills sent to it from the House of Representatives.
The senate carried out the action considering that a lot of time and resources have been expended in the process.
The action however threw the senate into a rowdy session as lawmakers protested the exclusion of their own bills from the long list and how a bill on the establishment of the chartered institute of management which was thrown out only last week got on the list.
