Georgia floods: Escaped tiger 'kills man'

A tiger that escaped from a flooded zoo in Georgia has killed a man, according to media reports.

The animal was one of several to flee its enclosure at Tbilisi Zoo over the weekend, following severe flooding in the city.
Earlier reports suggested the man may have been attacked by a lion.
Police have been deployed to find the animal, which was hiding out in a warehouse prior to the attack, AFP news agency says.
Hundreds of creatures drowned when the zoo was swamped by floodwater on Sunday, while many others escaped.
Lions, hippos and bears were pictured roaming the streets, with residents urged to stay indoors and avoid contact with any of the animals.

A spokeswoman for the interior ministry told AFP that the killing happened in the city's central square.
On Tuesday it was reported that all of the missing lions and tigers had been found dead, with one jaguar unaccounted for.
