Dangote Interested In Arsenal


Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote claims he still harbours hopes of buying English premier league side, Arsenal.

Speaking to Bloomberg, Dangote whose business interests include sugar, flour and oil says he is keen to become part of the Emirates stadium club sometime in the future.

Though he admits that no imminent bid was in the picture, he says they may make a move in the next few years.

Arsenal’s current majority shareholder is American tycoon, Stan Kroenke who remains committed to the English premier league club for the long term.

Uzbek Magnate, Alisher Usmanov controls around thirty percent and has also expressed no desire to offload any of his stock.

Nevertheless, Dangote remains interested in buying the club as he claims to be working on a strategy that will surely yield dividend.
