According to the organizers of Anambra Got Talent (a talent-hunt show pioneered in Anambra state), the event has attracted the support of the state government. They went on to tell The Bug that contrary to the perception of many, the event has no restrictions as it is open to every talented individual in Nigeria irrespective of age and state of origin/residence.
