Man Sentenced to 14 Years in Prison for Robbing Paul George's House

 Crime doesn't pay, guys.

A 43-year-old Indianapolis man named Michael Lewis just found that out the hard way. Last April, he was accused of stealing a $15,000 NBA All-Star ring, a pair of Air Jordans, a $700 watch, and $20 cash from Paul George's home. Lewis broke into George's house in the middle of a Hawks/Pacers playoff game and made off with a pretty sizable score. However, he was caught a short time later after police released surveillance video of Lewis and an accomplice at the scene of the crime:

And now, Lewis is going to have to serve 14 years in prison—and two additional years of work release—for breaking into George's house. All that for a ring that was worth more to George than anybody else, a pair of Js, a watch, and a 20 spot? So senseless.
